Seeing as how we next to NEVER get snow, I didn't believe the weather man when he said "chance of snow" for today. So when I looked out my bedroom window this morning and saw THIS:
I was quite surprised! I couldn't wait to wake Dylan up. I wish I would have recorded it because his face was PRICELESS when I told him there was snow. My child, who is usually very hard to get up, popped right out of bed and into some clothes so he could go play in the snow! I'm so glad we go up early enough to play in it for a bit, because it was gone by 10 am. This was his first reaction to the snow. Priceless. I love this little guy so much!
Although, I'm sure no one other than me cares much about it, London does not yet have a hat and mitten to match her winter coat, so I just grabbed one of her hats that belongs to an outfit of hers. It clashes something awful with her jacket, but that's what we had. And now I'll cringe for the rest of time as I look back at photos of her first snow pictures. And bet your bottom dollar I'll be buying her a matching hat and gloves tomorrow, as well as new gloves for her brother (who was wearing mine). :)
