Texas State Fair 2009

Yesterday, we packed up the kids and headed into Dallas for this year's Texas State Fair. This fair is HUGE and jam packed full of fun, food, rides, and venues. I think you would have to spend the whole entire day there to see every single thing, and a whole lot of money (everything was pretty expensive) to see and do all that is offered. We didn't do that, but did see and do a lot and had a great time! I didn't take a whole lot of pictures, because 1) I promised my family that I wouldn't be in "photographer mode" the whole time and that I would just have fun being there with them and 2) the universe made sure I kept my promise and my batteries went out 30 min into being there!! haha! I'm glad that I focused on having fun, but so sad that I didn't get to take any pictures of the petting zoo. I think that was Daniel and Dylan's favorite part of the whole thing. We even got to pet a GIRAFFE!!! Never in my life have I pet one of those! It was pretty amazing. London's favorite thing was either the yummy food or the lights of all the rides. She would just giggle and cheer for Dylan while he was on them. We also got to ride on ride as a whole family at the end of the night, but London did not enjoy her first fair ride one little bit. She was completely freaked out. I hope that she does not take after her mommy in being afraid of most every ride. I bet she wont, after all it was a pretty fast ride (didn't realize that when we got on) and she is only 12 months old! :)

Dylan at the ride entrance. He was much to excited to smile at me!

Daddy and London are ready for some fair fun!

This is the best shot Daniel could get with kids so excited to be at the fair.
