Happy Fathers Day!!

Today is all about celebrating the great men in our lives who have shaped us into who we are today, and we have a lot of great men to be thankful for in our family! Daddy, Umpa, and Grandpa, we love you all. We wish we could be in Mississippi to celebrate with you today, but we can't wait to see y'all in July! I posted lots of pictures and a couple of notes in celebration of today! Enjoy! We love you.

Also, even though I don't have pictures to post of them, we are also love and remember a few other great men in our lives today. My paw paw, Daniel's Papa Joe, and even though I did not know him my Mom's dad Grandpa Polk.

Daniel

I don't even know where to begin with what an amazing father my husband is. He is more patient and kind than most anyone I know. I am constantly impressed by his fathering to our two beautiful babies. Daniel, you are truely the best father to our kids. I love you.

The day that Daniel became a Daddy.

They LOVE their Daddy.

I could take up pages and pages and pages and... you get the point... of pictures that I love of Daniel with our Kiddos, but instead, I will just give you a quick collage of a FEW of my favorites.

My Daddy

Daddy, I love you more than I can even express. You have always been such a light in my world. You have given me so much love and support through all through out my life and it has carried me through in some tough times. When I was pregnant with Dylan I prayed that he would have a father half as great as you were too me. I know you are so proud that Daniel is as great of a dad as you are.
I have so many amazing memories from my childhood thanks to you. I share them with Dylan from time to time and smile to myself to know how lucky I am for you. Some of my most fond memories are our Daddy-Carla-Dates every Saturday morning. I would get to pick anywhere I wanted to go, and you would take me. I think going to Krispy Kream was one of my favorite things to do on those mornings. Another one of my favorite memories is that you would get me dressed and take me to school every morning. I can still remember being in that old grey truck and talking to you all the way there. I don't remember what the conversations were, but I know I loved that time with you. One more, because I could really go on for a long, long time, are all the times when I was older and I would pick you up in my Moms car and we would drive somewhere like the bookstore or the coffee house or go get pizza and we would talk for hours. Those times were so special to me. I pray that London and Daniel have such a special bond as we do.
I love, Daddy.

The Hilburn Men

Grandpa and Umpa
I am so thankful to both of you for molding Daniel into the man that he is. I feel so happy and blessed that you two are here to also help mold Dylan and London. We love you both so much.

Pictures from June

Because I am silly, I like to have the kids sit down (at least) once a month for a "photo shoot". I know they are only small once and I want LOTS of pictures to documnt this time! :)
