A Few More from Lee's Visit.

So, Lee's visit is over and things are pretty much back to their same 'ole grind. We really enjoyed him being here! We were all sad to see him leave. There aren't many people that I would say that for after a week long visit! :P. Its so cool to see Daniel and Lee together and how they are such good friends and SOOOOOO much a like. If you know them, you know what I mean. While I am SUPER excited to being having a little girl (again... if you know us, you know how badly I've wanted a girl!), Lee being here kind of makes me want one more little boy so that Dylan might could have that closeness one day. Daniel and Lee both adore their little sister though! I can't wait to see how Dylan is with London. He seems to be pretty excited about her arrival.

Sorry for getting of topic there! ;D. On Lee's last night my mom met up with us and we went to Joe's Crab Shack. Yum!! Dylan is already asking when Uncle Lee will be back! He LOVES uncle Lee!!

Lee's In Town!

Daniel's big brother, Lee, is in town this week for a much awaited visit! He lives in Japan, so it has been almost two years since we've got to see him. Dylan has been counting down the days for the past couple weeks!

His flight came in Tuesday afternoon, so Daniel was able to pick him up from the airport after work. We've just been enjoying having him here and taking it pretty easy. We've been to see a couple of movies and hit up the mall. Lee doesn't get to shop at American stores, so he was in need of new clothes. I've been the hostess with the not-so-mostess and have not cooked ANY meals. I know... I know... My mom is probably sickened. She is always the best hostess ever! I have made sure to get great take out though! :-/ Lee cooked an Asian spread for us tonight. It was so yummy! I can't wait to try to make it again. I am planning to cook the rest of the week. Daniel and Lee are planning to go rock climbing tomorrow and Six Flags is on the schedule for Monday. I doubt the boys will take pictures for me to post, but I know they will have lots of fun!

There were so many pictures that it was much faster/easier for me to post with collage. You can click on it to make it larger. For our families, if you want any of the pictures individually just email me and I'll send them to ya!

These are from just hanging around the house.

Happy 4th of July!

This 4th of July was pretty low key with the Hilburn family this year :). We just took Dylan to the University of North Texas here in Denton to watch fireworks and he had the biggest time. They actually several hours of activities planned for the night, but we decided to skip out and get there around 9pm just for the fireworks. I think maybe next year, we will make a bigger day out of it. This year, being 26 weeks pregnant, I wasn't so interested in being outside in 90 degree weather in a huge crowd. Dylan didn't mind just having the day to relax at home with Daniel and I. We have not had many of those days here lately. I did get some pretty cute pictures while we waited on the fireworks show to start.

Dylan made ALL of his outfit at a Summer Fun camp that he attended last week:
Waiting for the show...

*This is one below is my favorite of the night!

Dylan's first reaction to the fireworks.

I think Dylan may have had the best seat in the house!
You can tell by his face that he sometimes gets tired of my picture taking!

Night of Fun!

Night before last, Daniel had to go have dinner with a client from Japan. So, Dylan and I decided to hang out at Grapevine Mills Mall for a while and have dinner there. Since he was being so good and finished most of his dinner, we took a ride on the carousel. I was excited that he picked out the bench seat to ride on instead of horses... until the ride started and the bench thing started swaying back and forth. I couldn't wait for the ride to end! We had a little photo shoot while we waited on the ride to begin...

Daniel me us at the mall after his dinner. We were going to go straight home, but we passed by Game Works so the boys HAD to stop in to play a few games. We didn't plan for it to be any kind of fun special night, but it really ended being one!

Summer Fun

Not much to report on so far this month. We have just been doing the everyday stuff and getting ready for miss London Paisley. Dylan is very excited to meet his little sister. He asked the other day if she would be able to come to his Birthday party. I told him that (hopefully) she would be here a few weeks AFTER his party. He was a little disappointed, but felt much better when I told him she would be here for all the other holidays after that.

These are a few pictures that I snapped while we were sitting outside the other Day. My sweet little boy is getting so big!!

This one is from Today. He made his little hat thing at his Summer Fun class. He must of had a BIG time because he had passed out by the time we were home!

The Science Museum

Daniel and I took Dylan to the Museum of Science in Dallas today. It was a great family day! We spent 5 hours there!!! I couldn't believe how long Dylan lasted. One hour of that time was spent at the Imax theatre. Daniel was the biggest fan of that. Dylan got a little freaked out by the movie. There were several shots that made you feel as though you were free falling from space. He did really well over all though.

Dylan's favorite part of the day was going to the Children's Museum, which is part of the Science Museum. It was really neat. They had all these different stations that simulated real life and let the kids learn and explore inside of them. There was a "Our town" exhibit where Dylan LOVED dressing up as a fire man and riding the fire truck. If your ever in Dallas, this is a must to go and do! Even after 5 hours we didn't make it to the nature building or planetarium. We'll definitely go back.

Just Because.

So, I had a few pictures on my camera that I hadn't uploaded until tonight. They are just some snapshot from the past week. I thought they were cute and needed to be shared :).

These are from Dylan's Bike ride this afternoon.
