Just because its cute.

I snapped this one last week and thought it was too cute not to share.

Holidays Are Here!!!

So, this past weekend Danie and I took Dylan to see Santa at a Lighting of the Tree event. All three of us really enjoyed it. They had crafts, concerts, contest and door prizes for the kids. Dylan won one of the drawings and got a cool little truck. He like the truck, but he was mostly excited about his name being called in front of all those people. He's my little ham. :D. I couldn't find my camera that night, so I don't have any pictures to post from the event. But, oh my goodness... I wish I had a picture of Dylan's face when they lit up that huge tree. It was the most special part of the night. I am so excited for this Holiday season. This is the first year Dylan is really into all of the festivities and I am LOVING it. We have lots of fun Christmas events planned for the next month. I'll make sure to bring my camera so I can share the special moments!

Trick or Treat!!!

This has been the first year that Dylan is excited about hollidays, and boy was he excited to go Trick or Treating. He had a party at his school on Tuesday and we took him out to Trick or Treat on Wednesday as well as to Daniel work party (whick was mainly just a lunch and costume contest). He had a blast for all the events! He was Ralph from TMNT for his class party and a Ninja for Daniel's work party and Trick or Treating.

Pumpkin Patch 2007

Daniel and I went with my mom and Dylan to a pumpkin patch over in Flowermound. It was so much fun! It is privately owned by a family that opens up there land to the public every year from October 1st - 31st. They make it truly magical for the kids. There are 3 different bounce houses, some huge bounce slides, bounce obstacle courses, hayrides, kiddie train rides, a house made of pumpkins, hay mazes, tons of picture opps, and tons of pumpkins!! AND it all free! They make there money from selling the pumpkins, which are a little pricey. Dylan had a blast and so did we!

Ha! I started this blog back in the summer so that our families could keep up with us. However, I never updated it or even gave you all the info! So, heres to a fresh start!
Dylan is 3 now. We will have been in Dallas for a year next month. We couldn't be happier. We added a new member to our family this month when we addopted Daisy from petland. We love having a little girl in the house! :)

So here are few pictures to get us up to date from over the summer...

That is just a few of many pictures, but I would be here all day if I added every single one. I promise to keep this up to date though so we can share lots more pictures!

First Blog

So, I got this Idea from one of my old friends who blogs about her sweet family to keep friends and family updated on his growth. All though, my sweet baby isn't really a BABY anymore and doesn't grow quite as rapidly as hers, I thought it was a great idea. Especially since Daniel, Dylan, and I all just moved to Dallas and most of our old friends and family are still in Mississippi.
In case its been a while since we last talked, I'll fill you in. Dylan is two and a half. Well, a little bit older... He will be THREE (oh my gosh, I can hardly wrap my head around that!) in September. We moved out to Dallas, TX this past December. We love it for the most part, although I must say, I do at times miss the friendliness for Mississippi. Dylan was in an early preschool when we first moved out here, but we took him out for the summer. I want him to be able to enjoy all the summer activities like going the pool, park, zoo, and on various play dates. Dylan and I have really enjoyed it. Until the weather decided to go sour (it has literally rained everyday here for almost 2 weeks now), we were at the pool EVERY day. We both are getting great tans, and Dylan can swim like a little fish. I'm really proud of how well he is doing with it. He loves to go to the movies and we have several friends that we go on play dates with. We are having a really great summer. But this fall, he will start PRESCHOOL (gulp) at a really nice private school here in Lewisville and I will go back to work full time. I'm excited for him to learn new things and have new friends, but I am stingy and love our days together.

So, that's where we are. Today, we are leaving for a trip home to Mississippi. We can't wait to see everyone! Dylan can't wait to see Dee Dee and Reagan and Ride the tractor with his Umpa. He doesn't realize yet how long the car ride will be, but I packed lots of books, toys, and his DVD player for the car. I'll let ya'll know all about it when we get home!
