Park Days.
The past 3 days have been BEAUTIFUL, so we HAD to take advantage and go to the park. It has been so yucky all month, that we haven't been able to get outside. We really really enjoyed those 3 days! Its 54 degrees outside today. :(

House!!!
So, this is NOT a done deal YET, but we are in the process of trying to get this house. It is a newly built home in a neighbor hood that is just getting started being built. Its in Denton, which is about 20 miles up from Lewisville. I wasn't going to post any pictures until the deal was done and we had closed on the home, but I really wanted my Daddy and the rest of our family to get to see it. Please pray for us that if this is the right house, everything will continue to go smoothly. We should know something in a week or so.

Just some pictures...
These are just some pictures that I've snapped over the past few days. There isn't much to report on for now. We have just been taking it easy (a little to easy, maybe even slightly lazy!). With me working in retail the past month has been sooo hectic. So, I have really enjoyed this week's slow pace.
This is Dylan playing his drums that santa gave him inside the tent that Umpa gave him!

I REALLY need to take my tree down.

Happy New Years!!!
So, this New Year's Eve we let Dylan have a sleep over with his two cousin's, Wyatt and Trey. The three boys had a huge time! We started the night off with playing around the house and pizza. Then, we played a fun game of Candy Land. Dylan is just getting old enough to play games and I am so so excited. I LOOOVE to play games of any kind, but especially board games! My parents use to play games with me all the time. We would order pizza and make "Family Nights" out of it on as many Fridays as we could. It is one of my fondest memories of my childhood. Anyways, I've always looked foward to Daniel and I to share the same tradition with Dylan. He really seems to enjoy playing with us!
Later in the night, we put the two little ones in Dylans room and let them watch some movies. Wyatt enjoyed hanging out with Daniel on the computer. I was the only one who wanted to watch all of the festivities on the T.V. :). We let all three boys stay up until midnight to bring int the new year. They really enjoyed it, but as soon as they laid back down they were all three OUT like a light!
Our friends Dean and Kaston came over as well right before midnight hit. After the boys went to sleep we enjoyed some adult company! It was a quiet, but great New Years Eve.

Merry Christmas!!!
Oh my! We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. I was a little homesick last night on Christmas-Eve because that night is usually when my family gets together. Daniel and I really missed both of the families this year. With me being in retail, we haven't been able to leave Dallas since the summer. I knew in advance that I wouldn't be able to take off from October 1st through January, so we were prepared, but still a little homesick. We both felt so blessed to have each other and Dylan to be with though.
Last year, we had JUST moved here a few days before Christmas and things were a
little tighter around here. We made the best of it and had a wonderful time anyways and shared lots of love and laughs and made great memories. We didn't put up a tree in part because of our budget (we moved out here 2 weeks before Daniel started working) and in part because it would be a waste to put a tree up for just a few days. Everyone assured me that Dylan wouldn't remember that Christmas much anyways, since he was only 2. I still couldn't handle have NO tree to unwrap his presents under, so I cut out a little tree from wrapping paper! It make Daniel and I both smile to see how far we have come! This year we had a really cute tree that fits us so well and lots and lots (maybe too many... I may have over compensated a tad) of gifts. We are truly blessed.
