Dylan's First Day of PreK4

Well, his first year of PreK4 THIS year, I guess is what I should say. Dylan's Birthday falls five days after the cut off for Kindergarden, so he had to take PreK4 again. We switched over to a new school closer to our house and in the school district that he will attend grade school in though, so there is still lots of "newness" this year. And let me just say, I am A-Okay with him not starting K5 this year. This mommy is not ready for her babe to be gone 5 days a week quite yet! I plan to squeeze every last bit of baby out of him that I can! :)

Dylan was super excited to get back to school this year. We had a good time this summer, but my little social guy loves to be with his friends as often as possible. I'm glad that he loves school so much, hopefully he always will. So far, he has done a great job with making new friends and adjusting to his new school. He was so cute on his first morning when I asked him if he was excited to go to his new school, he said "Yep! I can't wait to make new friends!. I'm going to say, 'Hi! My name is Dylan Hilburn.'" Ahhhh. My sweet little guy. He also told his teacher "I really hope my new friends like me!" Of course they will love you, my sweet little man. How can they help but to?

Happy 5th Birthday, My Big Man!

I CAN NOT BELIEVE that my sweet little guy is five years old. Time flies so quickly!

Dylan had big celebrations this year for his big birthday. Our first celebration was our annual family dinner on Friday night. We enjoyed good food, good company, and yummy cake. Then, the next morning we woke up super early and headed down to spend the weekend at San Antonio with Uncle Lee at Sea World. We got home on Monday and Dylan got to open even more birthday cards that had come in the mail on Saturday. Tuesday Dylan took cupcakes and celebrated with his new friends at his new school. Of course, he also got lots of awesome toys.

Sea World

For Dylan's big birthday present, we took him down to San Antonio to visit his Uncle Lee and Sea World. I bought the annual pass since its just a skip away, and I'm so glad I did. I know we will be going back after christmas! We spend two days there and had a bast both days.

*Day One*
Our first activity of our Sea World trip was seeing the Coral Fish aquarium. The fist were beautiful! I wish I would have gotten a shot of the whole tank because it was HUGE. While we were standing there, they announced that they were about to feed the fish and for everyone to take a seat. The guy with the mic told us some cool facts about the aquarium and fish and talked to the diver in the tank. We weren't expecting a "show" out of the aquarium, but enjoyed it very much

Uncle Lee rode on the second ride of the day with Dylan. It was a kiddie coaster and after riding the BIG coaster, this was a breeze for our big man. He was super excited that Uncle Lee was riding with him on this one though.

Lee and Dylan are on the last whale in the picture. Dylan kepts his hands in the air the WHOLE time. My BIG boy!

Next, we went to the dolphin's show. It was really cool. They had acrobats that did crazy tricks in the air above the water, amazing divers that did the most amazing dives I've ever seen, and of course, beautiful dolphins. Dylan really liked this show.

There were hena tattoo booths set up all along the walk ways. When we saw that one of the designs was SO much like Daniel's real tattoo, I had to let Dylan get one. They were buy one get one free, so he picked out the panther like his Daddy's and a dragon like Uncle Lee's.

I hate that Daniel's tat got cropped out, but I LOVE this picture.

This is one of the two family shots that we got. I wish I had on make up, but I guess I'll take what I can get. :)

The last show of our trip was the Bonnie and Clyde sea lion show. It was so, SO cute. Daniel and I both agreed that it was our favorite show of them all. Also, the sea lions seamed to be London's favorite part of the trip too. We took the kids to see them "back stage" in there living areas and London just babbled and babbled to those big ole things. She was loving them.

After that show, we headed over to this giant playground that they had. My battery died right after I shot this picture bellow, but the three boys had a big ole time and London and I enjoyed some girl talk on the lawn chairs. London even made a couple of friends with some babies sitting next to us.

Birthday Dinner

Friday, before leaving for San Antonio, we had Dylan's birthday dinner with family. Dylan picked a Japanese Steakhouse this year, so we hit our favorite one in Lewisville. The food was delicious and the boys all enjoyed the "show"

Birthday Cake!

London Paisley is 11 months Old!

I say this every single month, but DARN!! Time flies! *Sigh* I can't believe my baby will be one year old next month. That is so surreal to me. More surreal is that big brother is going to be turning FIVE tomorrow!!! I'll post all about Dylan's big day later though. Here is what Miss London was up to this past month:
*Still crawling around everywhere, and now at super speed.*Pulling herself up on EVERYTHING.
*About half way through the month she started letting go of objects that she pulled up onto and standing on her own for little bits at a time.
*Cruises with ease. Its so funny to watch, but she will hang onto the wall and cruise along side it too.
*Is starting to sound out simple words. "HeyWo" (Hello), when "talking" on her phone.
"Doe" (Down) are her most common new words.
*Blows kisses
*Points with finger at what she wants/where she wants to go.
*Gives closed mouth kisses, rather than big open mouth-to-cheek slobbery ones.
*"Aww-wee's" her baby dolls. This is what we call it when she hugs and pats on the back. We will say "London, Aww-wee..." and she will love on whatever it is we asked her to. But lately she does it on her own with her dolls.
*The biggest news of all: SHE TOOK HER FIRST STEPS TODAY!!! One day shy of 11 months, Miss London took 5 steps in a row!! Dylan walked at 10 months, and I asked her if she was going to let him beat her on that milestone the other day. I thought she was going to let him, but I guess she decided not too! :D My heart was so full of pride I thought it might bust.
Her stats for this month are:
Height: 30 inches, 95th percentile
Weight: 25.9 lbs, 97th percentile
