Spring Fling.
Yesterday, Dylan had a "Spring Fling" at school. They did a little concert for that morning and then had all kinds of carnival type activities. Dylan said his favorite thing was the Choo Choo train (I'm still waiting on my mom to give me those pics... she stole the batteries from my camera) and the BIGGGG jumpy house with the slide! He also loved the "Tattoo Booth" and all the fun games they had for us. I'm so glad that my mom was able to come be with us. I hadn't told Dylan that she was coming and his face just lit up when he saw her out in the audience. He even yelled out "GRAMMY!!". It was cute.
My favorite part of the event was watching him preform his little songs. He is our little Rock Star! He plays his drums, guitar, piano, and sings EVERY day for hours. He has the biggest love for music of any child I've ever seen. His teachers laugh about how he gives concerts for them at school all the time. His favorite kind of music is rock and he gets down to it... head banging and all! This concert was no exception! I hope his love for music continues to grow!

One More Easter Pic
Easter Eggs!
I have to say, dying easter eggs with a two year old and a three year old was the most easter fun I've ever had! I couldn't believe how well Lexy and Dylan did and how cute thier eggs turned out. I couldn't find my camera Easter morning :( so I don't have pictures of them in their Sunday best or the egg hunt.
Dylan doing his thing!
Easter Rock Band Sessions
We spent most of the weekend with Daniel's parents at their house. His Grandparents and Aunt Paula and her girls came up to see us on Saturday. The big event that day was Daniel's Rock Band game that I bought him for Christmas. Just about everyone tried it out, even Grandma! It was a blast. I think some of the adults enjoyed it at much as the kids did! I also put in a few pictures of Lexy and Dylan just playing around.
School Easter Egg Hunt
Summer is Right Around the Corner!
Dee Dee and Reagan Visit!
We're Back!!!!
Its been a while since the last time I blogged! Sorry about that! Hopefully everyone didn't give up on me and stop checking in! I have a lot to catch everyone up on!
So, I stopped blogging in January right after we moved into the house. The weeks leading up to the move in date were just far too busy for me to sit down and blog. Just a couple days after we moved in, my dad suffered yet ANOTHER stroke. He is doing a so much better now, but still has a long road ahead. This stroke really hurt his speaking abilities, but he's in great spirits. Those of you who know my dad aren't surprised by that! Anyways, this blog has always been sort of for him. I mean, the rest of the family and our friends too, but my dad has always checked this thing on a daily basis and really enjoyed being able to watch Dylan in little everyday thing that are easy to miss two states away. He hasn't been able to check the blog since his stroke. We had to send him to a rehab-nursing home following the stroke and he doesn't have Internet or a computer. It hit me today that sooner or later he will be back online and upset that there are gaps in this thing!! :D. That, and I know the rest of our family want to see how we are also! That being said, We're back!
Here's a "Quick Notes" catch up of happenings since my last blog for ya'll:
1) We closed and moved into our house!!
2) My sister and Reagan came out to check out the new digs! ...We always love having them!
3) Daniel has been working like mad on this Ghost Busters game his company is putting out.
4) We got to go home to Mississippi for Easter for some much needed time with our families.
5) Dylan STILL has Easter candy left to eat!
6) We found out the day after moving in that I'M PREGNANT!!!.
To elaborate on that last bit... We are so so excited. I am 16 weeks and so far the baby is doing great and is healthy and strong! We don't know yet if its a boy or girl. I'll keep you posted as we find out more!
Now for a marathon of post.... Enjoy.
